Meet Dr. Jolene Kristine Gatmaitan‑Dumlao, MD
Dr. Jolene Kristine Gatmaitan Dumlao is a board-certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist, and the founder of Skines – Dumlao Dermatology Baguio. Born and raised in Baliwag, Bulacan, she studied BS Psychology (cum laude) at the University of the Philippines Diliman and earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the UP Manila College of Medicine.
Before entering dermatology, she served as a research associate at the UP National Institutes of Health, further sharpening her scientific foundation. Her dermatology residency and dermatopathology fellowship were completed at the UP-Philippine General Hospital, followed by advanced training in dermatopathology at Mackay Memorial Hospital in Taipei, Taiwan. Dr. Jolene is committed to continuous learning, regularly attending global dermatology and aesthetic conferences and actively contributing to dermatology education and research.
After practicing in Bulacan and Quezon City, she relocated to Baguio City—her husband's hometown—in 2020. She began her hospital-based dermatology practice in 2021, and in response to growing demand, opened Skines+ Medical Dermatology and Aesthetics in July 2024. The clinic provides science-informed, patient-first care for all ages—managing medical skin conditions and offering safe, skillfully executed aesthetic treatments.
Dr. Jolene is also an active educator, mentoring medical and dermatology trainees in both Baguio City and Santiago City, Isabela. Her research work has been published in various local and international journals, and she has spoken at numerous conferences. She is also involved in community outreach, medical missions, and scholarship programs.
Despite a demanding career, Dr. Jolene balances it with a rich family life. She and her husband—a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon— are proud parents to two wonderful kids. As a family, they love traveling, enjoying beach escapes and mountain adventures, and discovering new food spots. An avid reader who also enjoys Pilates and yoga, she finds joy in personal growth and quiet moments of reflection.

Our Skin Treatment Procedures
Facial treatments typically involve several steps to improve skin health and appearance. These procedures also use gentle massage techniques in order to enhance circulation, promote lymphatic drainage, and increase the penetration of the skin-based products. These skin treatments help in achieving a healthy, radiant complexion.
SKINES FACIAL
Basic treatment include cleansing, steaming and minimal exfoliating. The relaxing gentle facial massage is followed by a hydrating mask customized based on the individual’s skin type: sensitive skin, acne-prone skin and pigmented skin.

BACK CLEANSING
This procedure involves cleansing and exfoliating specifically made for stubborn clogged pores and acne on the back. This procedure addresses the dryness and texture of the skin, made especially for this hard to reach area.

MEDICAL-GRADE FACIALS
This treatment use safe and specialized botanicals with actives in order to maximize solutions for your skin’s needs. These include exfoliation, gentle lymphatic massage, and application of a customized medical-grade mask. We offer treatments for those with sensitive skin, acne-prone skin and pigmented skin.

EXOSOME FACIALS
The exosome facial involves a series of rejuvenating and regenerative exosome-based products for the skin.
